At what cost? Which industries will pay the price for a trade deal we know few specifics about? We know that Vivergo, a bioethanol plant, is closing because US imports will be cheaper thanks to the tax break it gets, so the UK will become reliant on imports. How many more companies and jobs will go just to ensure the UK can export a limited number of vehicles, made by foreign owned companies, to the US at lower tarrifs?

Tldr, they’ve bounced back after the punitive 27.5% tariffs of the last three months were reduced to 10%.
I didn’t realize the US was such an important market.
