      If nothing changes before 2028 we are quickly approaching a point where the federal government will be rendered irrelevant as it becomes obvious that it is not being run competently or in the interests of general welfare. This’ll probably be our version of the collapse of the USSR. Why would state and local governments that are still being run like proper administrations simply stand idly by while a regime of party sycophants, white supremacists, and deranged conspiracy theorists with the backing of a compromised Supreme Court render the country deaf, blind, and dumb? Since they are the backbone of the economy blue states and cities are going to move more and more to rely on each other for coordination, support, and leadership while the rest of the country languishes in blind obedience to morons.

      The fascinating thing is that RFK jr’s wants to destroy the CDC because of his conspiratorial beliefs while the Project 2025 people want to destroy the CDC to privatize it and then have govt fund corporations (that they all have a stake in) –– different rationale same end result.

      So? Is anyone still under the naive assumption that the people running this country now give two fucks about the population’s health? Their agenda is not to make things better for Americans. Once you understand that, everything they do makes sense. It’s all political and personal agenda, all the way down.
