Xi Jinping, um Putin und Kim Jong-un zu Gastgeber in uns zu veranstalten

North Korea’s leader, Kim Jong-un, will make his first visit to China for six years next week to attend a giant parade commemorating the end of the Second World War, confirming the event’s purpose as a political showpiece for Xi Jinping.

Kim, who has had an on-off relationship with Beijing since succeeding his father as North Korea’s supreme leader in 2011, now plays a central role in an anti-American strategic alliance led by Xi and President Putin.

All three will be presiding over the massive parade to be held in Tiananmen Square next Wednesday, marking the 80th anniversary of the formal end of what is known to the Chinese as the People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression
