    1. Landmines are dangerous but similar to wolves they serve an important role in the ecosystem of Finland’s forests.

      What’s sad is that if Russia wants to invade this will not deter them. They’ll just send a bunch of their soldiers into a field to clear it by setting them off.

    3. I remember from somewhere that they stopped using mines to placate the Soviet. Now that they are in NATO and Russia is more aggressive than ever, this is only natural.

      Ah yes, defeat Russia by becoming like them. Well who cares if a bunch of kids get their legs blown off in 2045 eh?

      Land mines are very dangerous and need to be handled properly, but with meticulous placement and record keeping, they are useful. I’m confident Finland will use them for good cause (maiming Russians) and in locations and conditions where they are suitable

    7. I just pity the animals. All these fences and landmines should be causing a lot of damage to nature. It’s a necessity though, until the Kacapistan implodes.
