I watched his 11 minute video. I think it’s important these details are public to gain an understanding of why. The media will whitewash the story, blame guns, not have a serious conversation about mental health, and never talk about how our politicians have been selling out American citizens for years. So much so that we have an entire generation who feel generally hopeless.
I’ll be interested to see how much the media will focus on Trump and if they’ll even mention BlackRock at all. There are a lot of names he references and it seems to be an overall grudge against the Federal Government with a reference to Ruby Ridge (among other things).
This is all so tragic to see how a single person descends into madness and then takes it out on innocent people. There were a lot of antisemitic messages. He was all over the place.
This is the country that both Democrats and Republicans have built all the while convincing you they had nothing to do with it. I bet we will learn more about this person than we did with Thomas Crooks.
The scariest thing about his entire video for me was the note. He loves his family and friends. They probably love him too and they probably didn’t see this coming at all. How many people do we know who are on the edge and we don’t know it?

If your goal in committing a mass shooting is to establish some sort of legacy, the stupidest thing you can do any more is to die afterwards. Because if you’re dead then you will become a cypher for everyone to vent their own political grievances through no matter what your own beliefs or intents were.

Shootings are nothing new, 99% of them being done by straight males who identify as the gender they were born into. to find one transgender shooter when we ALL KNOW this is the minority- and then say shootings are a mental issue because he is transgender so he must be mentally unwell- is so blind.

Italy has strict gun laws, customs & laws that prioritize people’s health. and guess what? kids don’t get shot there. this is 3rd world problems. my entire childhood & adult life, shootings are in the news every month at least. when will people wake the fuck up.

Trans or not, when I hear about these another shooting, my first question is always, were they on any SSRIs? My second is, were they somehow „known to law enforcement“? My third is, were they bullied and excluded in school? It’s usually at least one, if not at least two, if not all three.
