If you stand in front of a mirror and say ‘Purple Aki’ three times, he reappears!
Saw him in Piccadilly once.
Crossed the road, just to be sure.
He was clearly an odd one, although it was never massively clear to me how much of the stuff attributed to him was really him, or even really happened, given that the police clearly targeted him.
Jesus. Dude has died like, 3 times now.
This one appears to be legit though.

I’m not sure why they added the „sadly“ when he contributed to a kid killing themselves.
He corned me outside JD Sports and kept trying to ask me to lift him up and squat with him on my shoulders. Very strange man
For decades, school yards across the region have rung with the bellows of children screeching „Purple Aki’s gonna get ya!“
Most kids being blissfully unaware of his actual existence, assuming he was nothing more than childhood lore.
I don’t think people are aware of the absolute chokehold this guy had over the region, he reached mythical status.
Why do I have a feeling that the death of Purple Aki is going to become something of a strange, watershed moment that people will look back on in 10 years time just like when Harambe died?
