How were there any humans wilfully dumb enough to believe alternative plastics aren’t still endocrine disruptors?
Of course those packages all have impacts. Our organs are riddled with microplastics too. And the data about higher heart attack rates in people using those black plastic mealprep containers barely blipped the news.
So this is a issue with how we test and regate stuff. BPA was removed but it was replaced with chemicals related and since we don’t have enough data to know if they are as dangerous or worse we just have to wait and see.
I have a issue with this because you are saying I’m ok with using dangerous chemicals until it starts hurting a significant amount of people.
oh but what about profits??? Can’t have reforms. I have all this plastic to use up.
