Would like to see how they’re gonna spin this one when people who have entered this country illegally get food, housing (which includes heating) all for free. Ticking time bomb for the riots

Watch as inflation in the country continues to increase and bank of England insist on belt tightening when it’s things like energy and fuel and rent and food and all the non negotiables that are the very things causing it. Better increase interest rates, can’t have people warm and eating lmao
How is the government ever going to convince people to invest in renewal energy whenever energy prices remain stubbornly linked to gas?
Can’t win can you. Use less each year and they bung the prices up anyway
That and the standing charge. Annual statement for the year recently came which has a summery of usage and when doing the math around 15% (£180 ish of £1200) of what was spent was standing charge alone
And thats just a small (2 person) household who are careful about not leaving stuff on, energy efficient appliances and so on.
What a shock, but it’s OK, our energy Companies are now buying it while it’s cheap and selling it to us lemmings at the higher prices in the winter…
