It’s well enough time in theory, provided your train is on time. You board the EuroCity direct just like any regular train, without any luggage control (those are only for the Eurostar to London). However if your ticket is tied to the EuroCity Direct 9527 specifically, then it’s probably a good idea to take a train earlier to Brussels just in case (the ticket is valid on any train to Brussels regardless, if there is a schedule restriction it will only apply on the ECD)

also: do check on NS International as well instead of NMBS International, it might be 1€ cheaper

    2. Not enough time. There is no luggage control (the train to London is the only one that has it) but trains often run late. Get a train to Brussels that’s 30 minutes earlier. You can do that on the same ticket.

Since you buy this as one ticket, if you miss your connection, you could take the next train (one hour later) without having to purchase a new ticket.
While a bit more convoluted, it may be worth checking the „no high speed trains“ option and see whether that is substantially cheaper.
