This is just an excuse for Ford to push his real agenda like scrapping bike lanes, expanding roads, and forcing through his stupid tunnel mega-project. More congestion in downtown will result in even more frustrated drivers who might be sympathetic to these ideas.

He’s also likely been lobbied heavily by places like Subway, Tim Hortons, and Uber to facilitate more foot traffic to boost demand.

„We need to end animal testing. But only for animal I think are cute.“ Doug’s gut feeling is the law. And the lawsuit. And the appeal. And…

Doug said „how do you mentor someone over a phone? You’ve got to look them in the eye.“ which shows how utterly and completely unaware of the modern world he is. He has no idea how anything works.

Nobody is mentoring „over the phone“.

I’m a remote worker and I’m happy that we’re still remote.

Having said that.. why do people act like remote worker is a right? If you want it guaranteed, work it into your contract.

But whether someone’s ordering hybrid for legitimate reasons or just a “gut feeling”, it doesn’t matter. There is no right to be able to work from home.

Lol this has 0 to do with Ford it’s happening all over the world he’s just following orders. It’s the corporate overlords pushing it top down. Brookfield owns 143 million sqft of office space. Banks have billions in loans for them.
