Apply illegal tariffs on steel and aluminum making it cheaper for your biggest importer of steel and aluminum to just manufacture products like cans in their own country….
Then create a loophole where items covered by CUSMA are exempt from tariffs and it becomes real cheap to import manufactured cans from Canada to the U.S. by filling them with food first…. exempting those cans from import tariffs…
This really is the dumbest timeline.

Hopefully this means we can metricate out beer cans and have 500ml cans in the future, like proper civilised people, rather than the barbaric 473ml cans because the Yanks still calculate their distances in rods and volumes in hogsheads?
