      Would be interesting to see the net real wage or median wage. GDP doesn’t say much about wages

      Now add access to housing and amount of holidays. Really intersting to see this. I expected Norway to perform better.

      Not particularly convinced by either of those fits. Where do they come from?

    4. This looks a lot like covariance from a common cause (namely the east-west split), which I guess is the point.

    5. Surprising. Why is part-time employment so widespread in Western Europe? What jobs are mostly performed by such employees, gig work or smth else?

      Is this data trying to portray that less work = higher gdp?

      Because GDP at a point in time, has a historical capital/wealth/development component. A country can’t match another country just by working. It would be much fairer imo to look at GDP growth over X years.

      Also not sure what longevity is showing.
