Is there a sign that Ukraine has the artillery, anti tank and personnel mines and drones that it needs yet? I wonder about these basic things.

$12 billion a year is not a lot of money.

Canada, a country of similar population as Ukraine (40 million), has a federal budget of $486.9 billion. Adding the 13 provincial budgets on top of that and Canada as a whole spends over $1030 billion per year in government spending.

$12 billion a year in American weapons for Ukraine is roughly 1.2% of Canada’s public expenditure budget and 0.5% of Canada’s GDP.

It is a very small amount.
