I work at a large venue in Minnesota where Bill was doing stand-up, and I guess sometime during his performance, a lot of people just walked out, which doesn’t really happen where I work

Maher is deeply unfunny. I used to watch his how, but I got so tired of him mugging to the audience after a joke (which I suppose was needed for a reaction). He just comes across like an obsolete Borsht Belt Hack.

Bill Maher’s political values calcified at some point way back in the 1980s. Do not expect that guy to embrace any social progress since then
Never understood what the appeal of Maher ever was. Dude is just an obnoxious snob who gets bitter when someone is more knowledgeable on a subject than he is and tends to let his jealously make himself look like an idiot, though I guess that’s not hard when that’s what you are

I think a number of us have kinda known this for some time, but its nice to see public figures like Marc call him out.
Bill Maher is insufferable. Marc Maron isn’t funny and is annoying as all hell.
Bill has never been funny. He’s had interesting shows/guests/topics, but he’s always been an arrogant, unfunny douche.
As usual, he’s completely right, and not incredibly funny. Perfect for todays ‚comedy‘ lansdcape. Keep going, Marc.

I’ve been watching Maher for years, all the way back to his ABC show. If you can’t see that he’s changed in the last 1-2 years then I don’t know what to say. His show also changed about 6-7 years ago too. Way less interesting and humorous. He started bringing on so many of these rage bait idiots before everyone else.
Bill lost me over covid… and he seemed to only get worse and worse. I couldn’t speak to what he’s up to these days as I stopped watching.
I can’t watch Bill’s show anymore. The Trump sane washing, likely for self preservation, is insane.
Marc Marron is irrelevant.
