Try not to get scammed by a taxi driver… Theyll make u pay 10x the actual amount
Visit Kokino, go on wine tour close to Skopje or Kavadarci/Negotino, visit Ohrid , if you have rental car go from Skopje to Ohrid via Mavrovo/Debar. If you are into history visit Heraklea in Bitola, Stobi in central Macedonia. If you are into waterfalls there are few that you can visit and if you are into hiking almost every peak is available but you need to register online because its forbidden to go to the mountains in summer period if you don’t register.
The taxis have a price list per KM on the dash so make sure to check that and go by that and not by what he says it is.

The taxis charge 50 denars per kilometer and 50 denar when you start your journey. If you dont want to be scammed download bee ride and you get a fixed price that they cant change

Ta et busbillet fra lufthavnen i skopje, fordi de offcielle taxaer koster meget mere, omrking 25 euro ~ 120 kr.
som de andre siger, pas på med priserne, en taxa tur i byen skulle være maks 200 denars ~ 25/30 kr. woodstock i skopje er en god sted til at drikke en craft øl, en af de eneste steder som har IPA.
Ohrid søen er vores diamond tip, tjek sv naum også, der er masser små busser fra ohrid til sv naum, de rejser hver 30 min, kan ikke husk når den sidte tur tilbage er men koster omkring 150 den en vej.
Stobi er også nice, bedste vin område, krushevo hvor makedonium er – efterklang (hvis du kender dem) har gjort en dokumentar derover på cphdox to eller tre år siden.
Bitolas shirok sokak er også en must-see. I kratovo har du de kendt “stone doll”, og i kokino der er en megalithic observatorioum som er super interessant!
Skopje – grab a walk around the Old Bazaar, then hit up Matka Canyon.
Ohrid – absolute must if you’ve got time. Lake vibes + old town churches = unreal.
Food tip: try tavce gravce (beans) + red wine.
Every Thursday starting at around 8pm there is a party on top of the mountain.
People gather and hike up the mountain, usually starting from middle of vodno, you gan get there with bus number 25 (someone mentioned it above)
The hike is between 40 min and 1 hour depending on the route you choose.
Highly recommend, there is a bar on top as well and a lot of friendly people you can meet
