If we want a 2 state solution (which I do), both states need to be recognised. Quite simple really
Anything but a solution preventing next 10/7 is counterproductive. Israel won’t forget about its safety because of things like UN condemnation or embargo. But if you have workable ideas how to free the hostages and prevent next 10/7 you’re welcome to share
It is counter productive until the remaining hostages are returned, hamas is disarmed, and Palestine recognizes the right if Israel to exist.
There’s no real country able to be stood up outside of a claim on paper literally. There’s more Palestinians in other countries than what would be “Palestine” at this point. Eg. Jordan. It’s a complete disaster.
