      Dang, now why would the country that wants UNIFIL to stop being in the way of its most useful invasion routes, ahead of the vote to renew UNIFIL’s mandate, want to spread information to make it look like the ongoing mission is pointless and to try sow division between the nations who are backing it?

      Guess we’ll never know.

      Well given that he was released from Lebanese custody before the trial and is now in hiding, it certainly appears there was some coordinated effort to get ensure he didn’t face any consequences.

      It’s possible, but you can’t really trust what Israel says nowadays, as they lie so much. During the 1970s, Israel has also supported paramilitary groups in Lebanon who also killed Irish peacekeepers intentionally.

      Member last year when ‚israel‘ repeatedly attacked irish troops stationed in Lebanon? Including firing tank shells into their outposts? Wonder why they’re so interested in our troops safety now
