Just checked for Cornwall. 21° max here, but that’s just perfect for me!

23c in Brighton. Wasted a lot of money last year buying an a/c unit, turned it on three occasions so far this summer.

This is a big issue that if it continues we will need to address. Certain sectors do very well with continued heat over summer others get hit hard – not withstanding how we aren’t equipped for the heat as a population for the most part

At least we’re having a proper summer unlike last years cold drizzle shit, who wants cold rain all year round

Just checked a few weather apps and it’s not getting above 26c in the south east

Where? The headline makes out like massive parts of the UK will be affected.
Currently camping in Kendal, any warmer and I’d me more irritable. It’s very humid and clammy

Been on holiday for three weeks in Canada.
Dreading the state of my garden. Will probably look like a savannah.

I don’t know if I’m getting old, but I’ve ceased to enjoy heatwaves. The BBC always announces them with words like ‚bask‘ and pictures of people having fun, but my experience of heatwaves is increasingly feeling gross, suffering, and worrying about climate change.

Remember folks London is UK. Especially when it comes to weather. Technically it’s not wrong but it also makes me wince.

I can’t even find a 29 on Monday let alone a 30.
