      Why on earth would they indict him in the U.S. for crimes they allege he committed in the U.S., but deport him from the U.S. before he stands trial in the U.S.? Trump and these DoJ heads are either stupid or lying or likely both. And on top of everything else, they’re covering for multiple pedophiles.

      They want to make an example of him. Even if they don’t follow through with this threat (and who’d be surprised if they did, at this point?), the threat itself fulfills their ends. The government itself is now a terrorist organization.

      ICE is pushing deportation to Uganda, but Abregi Garcia’s lawyer might have a chance to argue against it if they can prove he’d face persecution or torture there

      Well, since pretty much everything Karoline Leavitt claimed Garcia was charged with or was guilty of was not on any of the indictment paperwork, or the fact that if he takes the stand, those supposed MS-13 tattoos will be nowhere to be found on his knuckles „should“ raise questions. If I were his lawyers, the first pics I would release to the media would be of him sitting with his knuckles in full view, with a question to the media, why have none of you asked the Trump administration where these tattoos gone? Oh where oh where can they be?

      So…remember how Uganda said they would only take people WITHOUT criminal records? Doesn’t that mean, that by trying to deport him to Uganda, the Administration is just admitting Garcia didn’t do anything illegal?

      Why Uganda? Hrs not from there, has no family there and no connection whatsoever with the place. Seems rather inhumane and likely illegal.

      This is pretty fucked up. If you are against deporting people or for deporting people, deport said person back to their country of origin. What the hell are they thinking deporting him to some African country that is totally crazy and is going to create stateless persons.

      Nothing about sending people to Uganda or South Sudan is remotely logical. Cruel, obviously but logical, no.

      Because he refused a plea deal that would convict him of human trafficking/smuggling. Which there is no real evidence of.

      The administration is attempting to save face so they have a „conviction“ to point at and say see we told you he was a bad guy, regardless of how contrived and politically motivated the charges are.

      Every civil movement has many flashpoint individuals, those that are at the mercy of fate to be the political pawn for change. I don’t know the moral compass of Abrego, I don’t know what’s in his heart or in his conscience, but regardless he’s a symbol of everything evil that ICE embodies including failed due process, bigotry, and racial profiling. He’s not a martyr for the cause but he personal journey in life is being dissected to make him a 2nd class citizen in this population. Like George Floyd, Rosa Parks, Cesar Chavez we all have a calling that may inadvertently cross paths with moments in American history. His name will be remembered for this hateful time in America. Whether a party wished to erase it, it will endure as a call for basic human freedom and rights for all people that set foot on this American soil. That is why his plight is important and newsworthy

      Garcia is not Ugandan… why the hell would he be shipped to Uganda. This easily fits the definition of cruel and unusual punishment.

      Uganda should troll Trump and treat the guy like Royalty. Give gim the red carpet treatment, have a sweet house, car, etc., all ready for him. Then give him a choice to stay or go wherever he wants to go.
