Fries have nutriscore b on packaging btw. Its a formula that takes into account stuff like macronutrients, sort of fat, sugar,… very general guideline. Def not waterproof

Nutriscore was a decent idea completely ruined by lobbying and corporate interests. Now it’s so relative and devoid of the required context that it’s useless. Olive oil and salmon gets a D or E, while many potato chips (or crisps for our brexiteering friends) get C or even B.

I believe it is “as compared to similar products”. Perhaps there’s more healthy competition now
