      It’s a lesson that Lieutenant General Jeffrey Kruse learned the hard way on Friday, as The Washington Post reported that he’s been fired from his position as chief of the Defense Intelligence Agency by Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth.

      The DIA under Kruse was responsible for the classified preliminary report about America’s June strike on Iran, which gave President Donald Trump much grief once it leaked to the press, as it painted a starkly different picture of the attack than his administration had.

      Though the report expressly acknowledged its preliminary nature, its findings—that the strike set Iran’s alleged nuclear program back by only a few months, at most—put a damper on Hegseth’s and Trump’s insistence that they had totally decimated their targets. The president had referred to the attack as “one of the most successful military strikes in history,” comparable to the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

      Hegseth axed Kruse for “loss of confidence,” per the Post.

He served as the Director of Intelligence for U.S. Indo-Pacific Command, deployed as the Director of Intelligence for Combined Joint Task Force-Operation Inherent Resolve in the Middle East and served as the Senior Special Advisor to the Commander of U.S. European Command and Supreme Allied Commander Europe. Throughout his career, Lt. Gen. Kruse commanded Air Force and joint units at the squadron, group and wing levels. Other assignments included serving as Chief of Legislative Affairs for U.S. Strategic Command and as a programmer, panel chair, and head of the Air Force’s “Engine Room,” which develops the service’s annual budget.

Trump just trashed his, reputation, his family’s future and obviously wishes him the worst in life. Most people revere and respect the military no matter about politics, not the demented draft dodger. How are people going to feel about the Army after martial law?

      I remember Obama didn’t get along with his generals, famously General Petraeus, who pushed back against Obama’s middle east policy and was basically trying to put himself in a position to run for higher office.

      You know what Obama did? He promoted Petraeus to Director of CIA. Yeah, sure, Obama basically sidelined Petraeus’s true authority. But, Obama didn’t go as far as firing a general with an otherwise perfect record just because of personal differences…

      I have no respect left for military leadership any longer, and I come from a military family with an Admiral, Lt Col, and multiple USNA grads. There is nothing in the military code that prevents officers from speaking out when things are simply wrong ethically, morally, legally, and/or impinge upon the security of the nation. A key tenet in all of this is keeping our military apolitical and professional. They have rolled over, so F them.

      Imagine spending decades of your life, risking your life and slowly working up to this level, to then be fired by a bunch of morons who can’t fight, let alone stop creeping on children. My sole purpose would be to take those kinds of people on, especially a person with some actual power to do it. You know they probably have some good dirt on such incompetent “leadership”. Somebody def does. What’s frustrating is there’s probably somebody out there, with evidence that could bring down all of these goofballs. They could change the world and would forever be remembered as a hero.
