Ich habe heute dieses Zitat von einer Wohltätigkeitsorganisation vor Ort in Gaza gelesen. Es erinnerte mich an die Geschichten über unsere eigene Hungersnot und daran, wie Menschen tot mit grünen Flecken auf ihrem Mund gefunden wurden, indem sie ihr Gras essen.
Mein lokaler TD stimmte gegen den Antrag, die Zentralbank von Irland zu stoppen, die israelische Kriegsanleihen verkauft. Ich kann nicht verstehen, wie unsere eigenen TDs uns freuen, sie zu verkaufen, wenn dies passiert.

Absolutely horrific and entirely man made:
„The people in Gaza now dying of starvation are never more than a few miles from warehouses filled with food aid that they have no way to reach.“
This also is the first time famine has been confirmed in the Middle East.

This is appalling. I’ve gone to marches and send letters to TDs asking for action. I’ve even sent them to MEPs. The level of horror and cruelty. I’ve donated hundreds to NGOs on the ground. But it never ends. Humanity has failed the people of Gaza.
To the people on this sub who are justifying this or have justified it, may it haunt you for the rest of your life.
So disgraceful that our rulers despite their lip services haven’t placed a single sanction on Israel and Ursula Van der Leyden only recently advised Israel that the EU fully supports them.
They don’t care or represent us anymore. None of the matches nothing has changed Brussels mind.
I really need to leave r worldnews and block it, I spend too much time on there seeing what they’ll say as more and more comes out about Israel’s depravity. I pray for the day the people there ever call it quits but no matter how inhumane, they only sink lower in attempts to normalize/justify what’s happening. Bit of a breath of fresh air to see this posted literally anywhere else and see normal people responding with empathy like humans do
