Its cute to watch both ends of the extreme go for Carneys throat. It’s probably a good sign for his middle votes, though .
The strike was a no win situation for Carney, but politically, he played it right .
The only votes he lost by playing it this way was the votes he was already going to lose. Letting it go with out a attempted intervention would of hurt the center left and center the right votes.
Politically he made the right choice .
