      Love True Detective, he’s not right for the show. I’d prefer someone younger and grittier. Someone like Taron Egerton, Aaron Taylor-Johnson or Shia Lebouf. The show needs to go back to the first season story type.

      Season 1 was phenomenal.

      Everything else? Meh. Couldn’t be bothered.

      I’ve lost faith in td. The captured lightening in a bottle with the genius first season but haven’t come close to that bold originality again.

      I would have been excited if it wasn’t for the fact that it’s the same showrunner+writer as last season. That last season was terrible and shouldn’t have had the True Detective name attached to it.

      1. Nic Cage is actually a great actor.
      2. Colin Farrell was pretty good on S2.
      3. The Leonard Cohen song and intro for S2 were fantastic.

      Same writer and showrunner as the last season which was pretty bad, but I’d watch if he was in it
