Can someone explain this to me, how can one be in a condition too serious for medevac via helicopter? I thought the whole point of the helicopter was that you were gonna die if you cant be transported to the hospital fast enough
Who might’ve guessed that? A private company not transferring a seriously injured patient,who happens to be a billionaire, for fear of his passing inflight. With any patient that is a concern…. With a billionaire and the army of lawyers they or their family can hire….. most people would call that a wise decision

Thousands of people suffer car accidents every day, but they don’t get any news articles written about them. Why should we care about this guy? Never even heard of him, so it’s not like he’s a celebrity even. He has a lot of money so we should all automatically care about him or something? Ridiculous.

The real story here is that if billionaires would just pay reasonable amounts of taxes to society they wouldn’t have to worry about contracting ‘private insurance’ that treats everything as a business liability instead of a mission to save a life.
