      Such a bad film. We have normalized and empowered this shit with lazy streaming. Expect more crap sequels no one thought we needed.

      people can dog shit on this movie, but it was fun af to watch. Obviously it was over stimulated- it was crazy just to watch. A sequel that just took every opportunity to go out and about.

      Adam sandler hasn’t tried to actually make a funny movie in forever. He has to make family funny movies for his daddy Netflix for the paycheque. Nothing he’s done in years has even be remotely funny

      The first half was fun, the second half destroyed everything it built and leaves you thinking you just watched the worst movie ever made

      Lacked the spark that made the original so memorable but I thought it was fine and don’t regret watching it.

      Really shows though that streaming is its own thing and has its own standards of success when there’s a set fee for however much you watch.

      Almost no effort went into the making of this movie, but it’ll be one of the most lucrative movies of the year. Easy to see why Sandler agreed to do it lol

      No one wanted to see sad depressed happy Gilmore. How many more legacy sequels are they gonna make with our favorite movie characters sad and pathetic??

      wasted potential, like most of the comedy sequels that come out decades later. I was really looking forward to Ben Stiller’s cameo, but man they sucked all the fun out of that character.

      This felt like an event for me and I haven’t watched any of his comedies on Netflix before. I went in with low expectations and ended up having a blast. It felt like a standard legacy sequel that checks all the boxes, but something felt a little better than most.

      I was admittedly drinking and hanging out with my buddy who I hadn’t seen in a year but I thought it was funny and enjoyable. It won’t win any Oscar’s or anything, but if you like the original you’ll probably like this.

      So we’re just going with minutes watched now? Billions of minutes watched seems like a wild stat to make the main stat, lol. I wonder if that means a lot of people started the movie and never finished, or that’s truly a good amount of views. I haven’t watched it yet, but I will probably watch it at some point. It looks extremely derivative of the first though, like it’ll tread the same ground/jokes, and the first is so iconic, but still could have some funny moments so I won’t hold that completely against it.

      Is this some new standard advertising gimmick to make up a big high looking number?

      Damn so many people can’t just tune into a dumb movie and have a blast. Wife and I loved it. Laughed throughout most of the movie, and that’s all I ever wanted from Happy Gilmore 2.
