Yes, it’s a scam, but no, it’s not new at all.
Robot calls/scam calls. Never pick these up or, you’ll confirm your number is in use and you’ll get even more spam/scam calls.
Let’s say it’s forbidden, but certain people from certain places (we don’t name them here) do that
