Well, he was literally “buying votes” with his wealth so he deserves it. I hope he receives the full extent of the law.

The implications of his behavior, particularly over the last year, will damn him forever. He is pure poison, both politically and socially. We all know how this is going to play out. It’s as predictable as a ketamine high in a bathtub.

If he’s accused of committing a crime, rather than a civil offense, why is the result a lawsuit?
Why not arrest and jail or bail while awaiting trial?
I know the de facto answer is “because he’s rich and the rules don’t apply to oligarchs” but is there a de jure reason charges weren’t brought?

Hasn’t this happened before? Didn’t he basically claim that „it wasn’t an illegal lottery, the winners were never random, I merely defrauded people by making them believe it was a lottery!“ and the court’s response being „cool, case closed, then“?
Who’s „claiming“ he did it? He literally did it, it was on the news the whole week it happened? Is everyone gonna pretend that didn’t happen?
Maybe he’ll even say how he “fixed” the voting machines
