Finally somone has said it. If Orbán gets to have this peace conference in Budapest, he will likely win the next elections

Fuck Orbán, fuck Putin amd fuck Trump, but Im not sure why exactly Tusk should dictate those things. Its like me saying Russia should stop their attacks, sure, but what does my opinion matters?

It’s just one of the more realistic venues. Putin might agree because he can trust Orban and as long as Hungary is in the EU neither Putin or Orban will do anything too stupid to cause a big issue

    4. Thank you, let’s not increase Orbán’s popularity with these peace talks.

Polish Prime Minister Duda is quite right to reject Hungary as a potential site for Zelensky-Putin peace talks. Hungary’s Viktor Orban is a Putin lackey. Moreover, he is an authoritarian strongman.

What does Poland have to say about where this conference will take place? I don’t get it

    7. Putin has no intentions to chat, he wants a regime change and usa is helping

Last time there was memorandum in Budapest, things looked to be fine. Then, not surprisingly, Russia started to violate that referendum. You can’t trust Russia.

      >The memoranda, signed in Patria Hall at the Budapest Congress Center with U.S. Ambassador Donald M. Blinken amongst others in attendanc, prohibited Russia, the United States, and the United Kingdom from threatening or using military force or economic coercion against Ukraine, Belarus, and Kazakhstan, „except in self-defence or otherwise in accordance with the Charter of the United Nations“. As a result of other agreements and the memorandum, between 1993 and 1996, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Ukraine gave up their nuclear weapons.

Serbia is the only logical solution.
Assassination attempt on any of the attendees can happen but nothing is guaranteed 😂

    10. Most European nations aren’t an option as they’d have to arrest Putin for war crimes. Better to have this conference in a neutral nation.

    11. I don’t follow a lot of hungary politics, since, i don’t live there, but, i’ve heard a lot of people dislike the guy, what’s the reason for it? Can any hungarians or however u say it, explain the reasoning?

Why is even remotely relevant what polish prime minister has to say about that meeting? Is he going to be member of Ukrainian or Russian delegation? 🤷🏻‍♂️
