It starts this time every year. I’m surprised you’re surprised.

Maybe it’s the picture, but they do look smaller than I remember them….

Brown Thomas Christmas shop opened this morning too

I still have 3 or 4 tubs left over from last year. You give a load if them away, then you nearly get the same back. If the chocolate quality was anyway half decent, I’d eat them myself.

August , always Halloween and Christmas stuff
Halloween normally starts as soon as kids are back at school next week
Brown Thomas will start their Christmas decorations around start of September / end of August
It’s the same every year

Shops don’t put them out for the craic. People buy them. Blame people.

Sure look it while we are here, I love this inbetween holidays, Santa battling it out with Freddie Kruger and the lads,
Aliens Vs Christmas elves.
It’s a battle to the death on who gets that floor space in Tesco, Aldi and so forth.
Seeing Santa clause surrounded by halloween horror, is great.

They seemed to have massively over stocked these last year, they were 3 for 10 regularly. Looks like It’ll be the same this year.

Nah that’s fine.
What’s _actually_ a problem is when it’s already all gone before we’re even out of November.

Bracing myself for 3 straight months of people complaining that it’s too early.

People who don’t earn a lot of money have to buy luxuries such as these in bits and pieces over many months, such as from August. Same goes for Christmas presents.

Four pay days until Christmas for many people. Some have to budget

You buy one a week and it eases up your Christmas shopping bill like Klarna

They put them there because people buy them..
If everyone stops buying them they will stop the early christmas shite.

Or you know, Halloween.

Nothing inherently Christmassy about these – it’s not even Christmas-themed packaging. Don’t see the problem.

To be fair you’re allowed to eat sweets and chocolates all year round, not just at Christmas.

I was in the Range two weeks ago and they had their Halloween stock on the shelves. My wife said „They’ll have their Christmas decorations out next week.“

Can we just make selection boxes a year-round thing, I wouldn’t mind binge eating chocolates as I wallow in self pity
