SS: Despite the recently announced tariffs on India by the US, American businesses continue to operate and expand their manufacturing and development processes within India. Apple’s Q1 exports of Indian-manufactured iPhones as risen to $7.5B in Q1 of FY26, compared to $17B throughout FY25, and Apple suppliers have begun building capacity to manufacture components within India itself now. This shows both the resilience of US-India business ties, as well as India’s increased prominence in the global electronics supply chain beyond assembly alone.

Yeah because electronics are exempt from tarriffs. The only thing in tariffs are textiles, gems/jewelry and agri produce. So yeah…

Also fun fact Russian oil which is refined also exempt from tarriffs.

This whole narrative of Trump is because he wants europeans and Indians to buy american oil instead of Russian oil. Nothing more nothing less. Also in this process Oil prices will go up which will benefit Americans greatly.

Trump should crack down on Apple. Or have they already filled his coffers?
