Looks like theres only one side trying to make peace, and its not Putin

Huh, all this time I thought Putin really wanted to end the war that he started by invading another country unprovoked.

Who would have thought? So instead of doing something about it, Trump is going to wait and see for „two weeks“. Then he’s going to drag his feet to finally meet with Putin in 3 months. The meeting will be very productive and they’ll agree on almost all points. But then we start the entire dance all over again.

Meanwhile the deadline on which Trump would add further sanctions to Russia has expired long ago.

How long until Trump and Fox News starts blaming Ukraine for this again?

    5. It took him how many years to finally realize what the world has known all along?

Why would Putin concede anything if he is a dealing with an incompetent administration such as this one? He is going to drag things as long as he can and take advantage of every possible angle.

Meanwhile, Zelensky and the EU need to do their best to try and fenagle their way through dealing with a toddler called Trump who is clearly more intersted in appeasing daddy Putin. Very frustrating.

LIL DONNIE NO DEAL (TINY HANDS) WAS GIFTED THE MOST BEAUTIFUL PEACE DEAL BUT FUMBLED IT. NOT A VARSITY ATHLETE. AMERICAS FAVORITE CITIZEN, ME, MIGHT HAVE TO GO TO DC AND HANDLE DONNIES DROPPINGS

At that point there is probably just Trump who believes it’s possible to come up with a deal. Why would Putin want a deal? He wants Ukraine not a small part of it.

It took him a trip to Alaska and several days to figure out what everyone already knew for the last three years.

      Real stable genius right there.

    10. I figured that out years ago.

I’m sure people more qualified to talk about Russian politics figured that out long before me.

Trump is dying to be annointed hero and get that Nobel prize. Maybe he will just nominate himself.

Are you sure? Everyone was absolutely convinced that Putin was going to apologize profusely and return all property to Ukraine. What did you do?

    13. No shit, he’s been saying this for years. He wants to reclaim the old Russian Empire’s territory, and that doesn’t end with Ukraine.

    14. It’s pretty sad that Ukraine was forced to give up their nuclear weapons as part of a “peace deal.”

Fairy tales. For a putin this is PR, we are bringing peace and West is against us. These 2 meetings gave him so much material to brainwash his citizens, he doesn’t need any other meetings.

If Urkaine manages to bomb every refinery in Russia overnight, then some conversation can be had. Destroy every bridge, every train, power substation in 200km range from the border, then let’s see how smug putin will be. No power, no supplies. Go fucking home. There are not enough donkeys in Russia to carry all ammo and fuel they need

Well, at least the world’s prime ministers can stop nannying our demented pedophile of a president for a while.

And at least no one is disappointed or let down. The peace talk sounded fake, because it was fake. Looking at the map in the article, one might surmise that something had changed. Nothing has, however. The sociopath remains a sociopath. The pedophile remains a pedophile. The war remains a war.

If nothing has changed, is it even news? The world’s leaders got together and rediscovered that they can’t make either the pedophile or the sociopath behave – yet again. This is not new. This is a rerun of a dog and pony show.

“make a deal”…so fucking tired of him constantly saying that about everything! Fat, senile old pedophile!
