Pretty much comes down to CUSMA and whether backing out now will irritate America enough that we are forced to battle CUSMA before the reveiw.
If it wasn’t for that and nato , gripens it would definitely be .
My arguments against F-35 have nothing to do with it’s capabilities or performance.
My issues are strictly can we trust US government to supply us replacement parts and updated code?
I truly don’t believe the answer to that part is yes. I don’t want our planes to become something else US can hold against us. I also much rather have less capable planes than no planes if the US does try to 51 us.
This review is stupid.
Should we buy another jet? Absolutely.
But this review is asking the military what they want and they have always wanted the F35, so why bother?
