      The publishers of a new book about [Prince Andrew](https://inews.co.uk/topic/prince-andrew?srsltid=AfmBOoqTL1EULc6E-EX12BodGDo_FjL-Urlwrne2BsKUkoeMuPoB2ZLC&ico=in-line_link) are to remove claims about Donald Trump’s wife Melania and her relationship with Jeffrey Epstein before meeting the US President.

      Claims made by Epstein have already been published in around 60,000 copies of Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York by Andrew Lownie but will be deleted from future editions.

      The decision by Rupert Murdoch’s publishing company, HarperCollins, was taken out of caution to minimise the risk of having to defend a costly legal action but it is not thought there was a direct threat by the US President or his First Lady.

      However, it comes after Melania threatened to sue Joe Biden’s son, Hunter, for $1 billion (£740m) after he claimed Epstein introduced her to Trump. It also follows the US President’s threat to sue Murdoch’s Wall Street Journal for $10 billion over claims that Trump wrote a bawdy birthday card to [Epstein](https://inews.co.uk/news/world/epstein-saga-kicked-off-again-looking-bad-trump-3846266?srsltid=AfmBOoraadLzrFzEmbbOBZa9ntYybfzjIevQ_pE2bExOnMLWyRd5Ayt-&ico=in-line_link) containing the outline of a naked woman. Trump has insisted the card is fake.

      A HarperCollins spokeswoman said: “We can confirm that several passages from Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York by Andrew Lownie have been removed in consultation with the author.

      “Entitled is published in the UK by HarperCollins. In the US, the book is self-published by Mr Lownie.”

      Entitled was released in the UK last Thursday, with extracts serialised in the Daily Mail depicting Prince Andrew as arrogant, self-serving, and in denial about his links to Epstein, the disgraced financier and convicted paedophile who died in a New York prison in August 2019 while awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges.

      The book’s revelations about Prince Andrew’s friendship with Epstein and his financial dealings have further tarnished the Duke of York’s reputation.

      Lownie claims that although Andrew claimed to have met Epstein in 1999, “the truth is he and his ex-wife Sarah had known the financier for almost a decade by then”. The book adds that the Duke of York was “a useful idiot” to Esptein, “who gave him respectability, access to political leaders and business opportunities”.

      I would have thought that Murdoch would keep it there because he isn’t on good terms with the President or something. I guess that’s also theatrics.

      I wonder if Melania held the girls down while her pedophile husband raped all these children? She’s acting like she’s guilty. She hasn’t even divorced Trump after all the evidence of cheating, sexual harassment, sexual assault, and rape. That’s not including the long history of Trump’s involvement with Epstein.
