Belgium? High degree of caution? That is Belgium right?
btw this map gives a more accurate size comparison of countries. Ireland is bigger than people think.
How is Chile on the same level as Brazil ?
Belgium! Is it the mayonnaise with everything?
Surrealism posing a threat to rationality?
I know teachers who lived and worked in China for years, they never reported feeling unsafe.
Looks like we are spending Christmas in Mongolia, then.

The World and European maps have different definitions about whether or not a certain 6 counties are included in the UK. I wonder if they thought people wouldn’t zoom in to check the world map.
Surprised to see Chile in yellow. Thought that country was very safe.
Dublin should be red. No but seriously, the USA green? I’d feel much safer in China than I would in the USA. This feels very political vs actual safety per reported crime.
Interesting take on North Korea there. Expected a bit higher of a warning XD
Interesting that Argentina is Normal and Chile is High
Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Indonesia (should be a regional advisory) … U w0t m8?
Normal travel advisory for Ireland should just be.
„Shure, mind yourself“
Can’t believe Costa Rica is yellow. Was there 8 years ago and it’s very stable and incredibly welcoming to tourists. Even in the capital city San José, which to be honest the poverty is more visible, didn’t really feel unsafe. Went out there one night and had zero issues.
Sooo… Why is the US still green?
Come on over to Taiwan lads, even got a GAA club like. Great craic all together.
Mongolia, sound bunch of lads.
What’s up with Ecuador?
How is Belgium yellow and not France with all the lack of safety there?
Putting aside how political these categories can often be, am I really supposed to believe Belgium is more dangerous than most of southeast Asia?
USA and Mexico are safe now? Interesting.
How is the US safe to travel to? You can be arrested by ICE agents for having a JPEG of that bald-fat JD Vance meme on your phone.
I don’t see Larne on this list.
I visited Algeria and it’s pretty safe not sure why the Mixed advisories? You do get an escort just incase for your security but it’s super safe
I was in Costa Rica just before Christmas, I never once felt unsafe. The people are chill as fuck!
Pura Vida!
I live in Belgium, it’s currently 25c & I’m just looking out the window, all is calm. Might have a nice beer later
I went to Mexico about 8 years ago, the tourist part along the Maya coast. There were armed police everywhere along the road and stop points.
Went on a day excursion to Chitzen Itza by bus. First village we came across there seemed to be a big argument on the street with police in the middle of crowds of people. At Chitzen Itza there were police cars parked along the road for miles, almost back to back. That was the tourist part of Mexico.
Bold to colour USA green
Parts of Thailand are do not travel too, the 4 provinces in the Southern part of the country. Provinces of Pattani, Yala, Narathiwat and Southern Songkhla, Songkhla is fine been there many times, the others are dangerous. Serious conflict going on there many years with 1000s killed that hardly makes the news
Id rather go to Russia than USA )
If you intend of travelling to a country in red, is there anything you’re obliged to do or someone you should inform before hand? I’m travelling to Jordon and Syria soon.
What did we do to get on the Namibian’s good side?
I’d travel to China rather than the US these days.
China on the same level as South Africa 😵💫
Cuba is that one country I’ve always been curious of honestly, China as well, I didn’t expect Cuba to be green, China I can understand, I’ve always loved these maps, or infographics and other data points like from the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA), Central Statistics Office (CSO), and the Departments of Finance and Public Expenditure they’re so interesting I find…
Any advisory for Dublin?
