– This is true, had Ukraine or Georgia for that matter been swiftly included in this scheme even before any talks of formally joining the alliance the russians wouldn’t have had time to muck up a few regions to slow the process further, also there likely would not have been a major war in either country.
„NATO-like protection for Ukraine“ is a obvious scam, as for me. Why not just let join NATO then ?

I believe that 30 years ago USA and Russia also offered guarantees to fool Ukraine, and neither part respected that agreement. Any agreement now will also be a future joke.
LOL any protection given by USA is flakey at best lol and I’m not sure EU (maybe France or england?) could offer such military guarantees

Paper guarantees are useless if no one’s willing to stand by them…
Europe can provide such guarantees on its own, without the involvement of the United States.
It has both military forces and nuclear weapons.
However, it seems that Ukraine is not satisfied with these guarantees without the involvement of the United States.
Why do they offer a NATO like but not NATO? Sounds a bit suspicious tbh
NATO-Like wording is the appeasement and fear of Russia in combination with neo-colonialism. Russia has nothing to say in Ukraine. Ukraine must be in NATO.
A pretty smart move by Zelensky and NATO. Meeting before Trump/Putin to seize headlines and then meet Trump after because his attention span and memory are shorter than my autistic ass.
