Wir werden am 3.-6. Mai 2026 auf der ersten Etappe unserer Reise in München sein, aber jedes Hotel, das ich finde, ist 390-400 pro Nacht gegenüber den normalen 145-169 US-Dollar. (Siehe Foto).
Ich weiß, dass es das Frühlingsfest ist, aber die anderen Tage des Frühlingsfestes sind normal. Es mag auch Auer Dult sein, aber auch andere Tage des Festivals sind normal.
Was fehlt mir oder andere Vorschläge?

Feels very early to book? That might be part of the reason.

Might be due to the IFAT at the convention center which takes place from 4th to 7th.

May has several public holidays and also a week or two of school holidays in Bavaria, so holiday season prices.
IFAT trade fair is in that week.
Hm maybe because of a potential bundesliga semi-final at the Allianz arena?

Are those the prices for hotels in the inner city? If so then you might wanna take a look at hotels on the outskirts of Munich, somewhere where the trains still reach. You’ll reach the inner city within half an hour and public transport like buses that can take you from your hotel to the train station is still pretty dense throughout the outskirts.
