The Republican Agenda Is Deeply Unpopular With the American People

Fix it? They broke it!
And yet they keep getting votes. Decades.of proof that the GOP is bad for America, and they keep getting votes.
If you stop keeping statistics, everything is great! 👍
But Republicans been fighting for this for the last 65 years
It’s working quite well for the people who pay them.
They want to rule, not govern.
I voted for racism, not being poor MAGA 2025
We told you…
F’n Obama! Ugh.
Really? Which party is in the White House and the majority in both chambers?
I know it isn’t Democrats.
Stats don’t matter. Americans are just plain stupid. They deserve what they have now.
And America will still vote to continue this state.
And yet, whether by gerrymandering or manipulating, they still get votes.
Good idea starting with Pedo Prez and working down.
And daily C02 is at 425.55ppm. With all the environmental regulations gone to push it even ferther into oblivion.
It was only broken in earth 2. Now, it wasn’t perfect and it sure as shit was far from perfect, but things weren’t broken.
Republicans came in and smashed everything. Now it’s exactly as described on Earth 2.
So true.
Republicans campaign on this agenda. They campaign on trickle down economics, which means less taxes on the rich. They campaign on keeping people from joining sports if their birth certificate doesn’t match their current sexuality, they say women are not allowed reproductive healthcare. They say the border is broken and they know how to fix it, they’ll build a wall. They campaign on taking funding away from public services. That is the republican party, they don’t fix anything, they give rich people welfare and take everything they can from everyone else.
Why would they do something to stop it when this is their goal?
The agenda is unpopular; the big (R) on the ballot is ordained by God.
How about those Epstein Files, you can those out
Republicans have done everything to include illegal shit to make the situation worse.
It always has been but The Southern Strategy has warped your politics beyond recognition
When you consistently oppose action on climate change, attack reproductive rights, champion gun policies that lead to school shootings, and seem utterly out of touch with economic realities for younger generations, of course you’re going to be deeply unpopular.
And it’s all Biden’s fault.
Seven months after Trump’s inauguration,Biden still holds power.s/
Trump over and over has stated this is the best economy in history. That’s all it takes. It gets played over and over on Fox. The right wing echo chamber will NEVER present negative economic data.
Unpopular? Maybe?
Destructive? Certainly.
Will they keep electing them into office? Absolutely.
The only way to fix this country is to keep religious and anti-society conservatives out of the government.
It’s almost like they have ✨no intention✨
Trump diddles and rapes children.
The Republicans’ agenda was always unpopular, that’s why they run on inflammatory culture war issues that the media eats up.
To fix a problem you have to admit there is a problem and since Trump is the best president ever and capitalism is the best system ever there can’t be a problem so what could they fix? /S
And yet, they vote for it every time.
Yeah but now we don’t have to press 1 for English, totes worth it /s
I wish I could add a gif here of Lily Tomlin as the phone company lady: “We don’t care, we don’t have to.”
Republicans don’t want to fix anything and they don’t have to, because they don’t pay any consequences. We do.
But what about all the wins????
It’s been like this for as long as my 41-year old arse can remember.
Bizarre. Why would they need to fix it? It’s big, beautiful, and brand new!
They broke for reasons of greed and power.
*“The modern conservative is not even especially modern. He is engaged, on the contrary, in one of man’s oldest, best financed, most applauded, and, on the whole, least successful exercises in moral philosophy.*
**That is the search for a superior moral justification for selfishness. It is an exercise which always involves a certain number of internal contradictions and even a few absurdities.**
*The conspicuously wealthy turn up urging the hungry character-building value of privation for the poor. The man who has struck it rich in minerals, oil, or other bounties of nature is found explaining the debilitating effect of unearned income from the state.*
*The corporate executive who is a superlative success as an organization man weighs in on the evils of bureaucracy. Federal aid to education is feared by those who live in suburbs that could easily forgo this danger, and by people whose children are in public schools. Socialized medicine is condemned by men emerging from Walter Reed Hospital. Social Security is viewed with alarm by those who have the comfortable cushion of an inherited income. Those who are immediately threatened by public efforts to meet their needs — whether widows, small farmers, hospitalized veterans, or the unemployed — are almost always oblivious to the danger.“*

They’re totally betting on an authoritarian takeover so that it doesn’t matter what people feel.
Republicans do not care about you. They only care about power. I don’t know how many times we have to have this conversation. This happens every single time.
>“House Republicans are miserably failing to uphold their campaign promise to lower the cost of living – and the American people are noticing. Because they have refused to break from Donald Trump and Elon Musk, they are facing the wrath of voters for cheerleading Trump’s reckless tariff policy and voting to pass the largest transfer of wealth in American history by cutting health care to pay for a billionaire tax break.”
And what are the people who bought into that lie doing now?
All they can seem to muster the energy to do is pat themselves on the back for failures and threaten lawsuits for their failures being the spotlight.
The country has more than 3 years left of this, the Trump admin is still in victory dance mode from “winning” the election.
How much lower can we sink before we do something?
It’s incredibly popular with large corporations and the mega wealthy. This has been true of most decisions made by most administrations for at least the last 50 years if not longer. Republican or Democrat, if they take money from large corporations or the mega wealthy, they don’t work for you.
We all need to stop voting for any politician at any level who takes money from those groups. An organized independent / write-in campaign for every House Seat in 2026 with that core guiding point of agreement would be a solid start.
It’s Corporations vs Us. Stop voting for anyone they support.
Americans are such fucking dumb and emotionally disconnected people.
1. Voters say they don’t like Republican policies.
2. Then Republicans campaign on culture warz issues like illegal immigration, transwomen in restrooms, racism, etc.
3. Republicans blame Democrats for these things. Democrats shrug and cite a bunch of economic numbers.
4. Voters vote Republican in the next election.
5. Voters then get mad six months later when Republicans cut their health care, unemployment benefits, student financial aid, etc.
1. Voters say they don’t like Republican policies.
Just a reminder that Biden had inflation down and stable, job growth up and growing, and a generally good economy that was mostly recovered from the disaster that was COVID. The government was for the most part functioning smoothly and efficiently, and prospects for the near and mid term futures were good to great. Also, people around the world liked, respected, and trusted the US government and Americans in general.
Republicans have promised us the Handmaid’s Tale and that’s what they voted for. It will take time to tear down all this progress and regress our society.
