      Putin is probably even more mastered in spinning the facts the way he wants it than Trump. At some point of his speech he basically said that it was Biden who started the war in Ukraine. Putin of course had a choice not to attack, but it’s not relevant, it was Biden who is to blame for this war, not Putin. Just wow.

      Trump looked like a clueless buffoon, again.

      Putin can smile, sweet words in Donald’s ear stopped any fear for economic sanctions, plus if Zelensky now does not agree to whatever Putin asked he’ll be the bad guy who wants to keep the war going.

      What a shitshow, thanks a lot America.

      Let me know if this is correct:

      Trump officials knew the outcome of this meeting many days before it took place.

      The American public paid for the costs involved in the doomed meeting, which would have been extremely high, given the location, cost of security and transport.

      The meeting Americans paid for, attempted to elevate and normalize the internationally accused war criminal Putin, to that of an aggrieved, respectable, earnest negotiator. Despite the entire world knowing that he has single-handedly destroyed the lives of over a million of his people by sending them to fight in a completely unnecessary war.
