      It’ll be fun to see Paul try to stomach being on stage with Ace and Peter, especially if Trump doesn’t agree to give awards to the replacement members – same as Paul refused to play at the Rock Hall of Fame when the Museum refused to induct the replacement members.

      Funny, because I read it a bit differently than everyone else.

      Their full statement thanks the Kennedy Center but I think it’s pretty pointed that a certain someone else was *not* mentioned by name at all.

      Someone who probably expected a personal shout-out and some slobbering thank you’s at a moment like this.

      Instead it’s just a bunch of generic stuff about how anything is possible in America and they never thought they’d get such a honor. An honor that, until now, was fairly apolitical and bipartisan. But it still carries weight (although for how much longer, who knows)

      In short, It’s an anodyne press release that says about as much as your average publicist created drivel.
