His stans trying to push a narrative that this lawsuit was about anything other than being salty about this beef was hilarious.
I don’t dislike Drake, I like some of his music, but his super fans running with the idea that all of this isn’t about losing the beef is so silly.
There’s a reason why he’s nearly 40 and exclusively hangs around with streamers that appeal to a young, very online fanbase. He’s aligned himself with people that can mobilise their followers to push specific narratives.
Drake is such a bitch.
The success of Drake is interesting to me. His early stuff to about 2016 ish was very good. However the pivot to a gangster was odd giving the fact we all know his upbringing and the fact he for years did the whole ‘I’m not like other wannabe rapper gangsters I’m middles class and will never not be myself’. It’s odd the aggressive turn into trying to assert this gangster image imo.

If I went round saying I was a music legend just because some moistened bent lobbed an industry plant position at me, they’d put me away!
I again ask… how come they are doubling down on continuing to work with him, blaming his lawyers, and not simply throwing this lawsuit out?
Like if your artist is suing you why would you say “yes, we’ll work with you throughout this—it’s actually your lawyers’ fault!” I don’t get it.
