Reminder: This has nothing to do with them not being true to their ideals. Europe has been trading with Russia for decades, the European market depends on it. Cutting off all trade all within a few years is not logistically possible without major disadvantages. Thex have been reducing trade where it is possible, but such a drastic change takes time. A lot.
