Unfortunately, for the first time in modern history, nationalistic far-right parties are simultaneously topping the polls Germany, France and Britain and have developed deep ties with convicted felon/President Donald Trump and his MAGA/Republican allies. Precipitated partially by the Covid pandemic, which disrupted lives globally in many ways, rightwing extremist parties have harnessed social media more powerfully than their opponents.

Countries *can* maintain their moral, ethical, cultural and social identity without ultra-nationalistic, fear and hate-based „My Country First“ political policies – policies which always end up being used to control and suppress.

But it looks like the world is heading that way…
