      I just watched this last night again with my girlfriend. At first she saw how long it was and was like “Ughhhhhhh” because she knows I geek out over long movies with great directors.

      But then she was hooked.

      Such a good movie with an amazing tone flip.

      He said he didn’t do ‘American Psycho’ (2000) because of his younger Titanic fan base: Wouldn’t this not be in the exact same realm?

      I’m not a fan of Mark Wahlberg, but I think he was the perfect fit for Dirk Diggler in Boogie Nights – kind of a blank slate that other characters could interpret to their own ends, and fairly unremarkable looking.

      I struggle to see DiCaprio in that role, because I don’t think he does blank, blandness like Wahlberg does.

      Well it was that or Titanic and Titanic gave him superstar status so he made the right call.

      I dunno, it’s one of maybe three movies that I actually like Wahlberg in, because he’s very believable at playing a complete dumbass.

      A rare example where Mark Wahlberg is a better choice to lead a movie than Leo. Wahlberg is one of the best in the biz at playing a well meaning idiot (Boogie Nights, Ted, Other Guys)

      I struggle to imagine Leo in this role. Meanwhile Mark Wahlberg plays this role pretty perfectly (as a kind of gullible idiot who falls down the rabbit hole). Everyone in this movie was kind of perfectly cast

      Chase infiniti is the most 80s name that ever existed.
      It should be always written in Neon type.
