Videos cut but it seems like he checks in on him. He’s either dead or on the way out and he has got to move it before the next drone comes in 14 nano seconds.
Seeing the second guy continue to press forward without even pausing is genuinely disturbing.
It’s not a situation where you’re part of a mass unit taking fire but progressing forward to push an enemy force back.
They’re in the middle of an open field, in plain sight, and are clearly being directly targeted.
And he just keeps walking forward. I don’t know what was going through his head when he saw his squadmate *explode*. But he looked like he was a zombie or walking on autopilot. Didn’t even raise his weapon to take shots at the drone and try to save his teammate.
