      One of the best things that can happen from this race is the realization by entitled nepo-politicians that their “name” means shit if they misbehave now. Being a sexual predator isn’t something that is going to be overlooked again. Acting like an entitled prick is also a deal-breaker. I hope Cuomo loses so badly that the family name is ruined in politics for a long time. Maybe that would get past his ego.

      I’ve lost all faith in the American electorate to not vote for the worst possible candidate. I’ll believe it if Mamdani wins without getting overthrown or assassinated by racist bastards.

      Also says Stefanik closed the gap on Hochul a bit – from Hochul+23 to +14. Hochul wants to stand in the way of Mamdani’s popular policy – namely, the tax on the wealthy. Lt Gov Antonio Delgado is running to replace her and has a platform much more aligned with Mamdani (and has endorsed Mamdani). That’s a dream team, imo.

      Thank god. The Democrats of the past 20 years need to be replaced entirely. The ruin they have brought to their party and the country is astronomical.

      Serious/possibly stupid question, but why is Cuomo allowed to run at all after losing the primary? Can literally anyone run for mayor as an independent?

      I guess Andrew Cuomo, Chuck Schumer and Hakeem Jeffries are too good for *Vote Blue no Matter Who*?

      Why hasn’t the national party come down on Cuomo for refusing to align behind Mamdani. At this point, he has been far, far, far more antagonistic to Mamdani’s campaign than Bernie Sanders ever was to Clinton/Biden and yet the machine came down on Sanders.

      From afar it looks like Cuomo is making as good of an argument for Mamdani as Mamdani does. If the Trump endorsement comes down, I’ll bet on a romp on election day.

      The more the establishment dems and republicans try to smear him the more attractive he is as mayor. One thing is certain though, Andrew Cuomo has lost whatever he had in the past with successfully running a campaign. He’s completely lost in this race.
