Afd…. People who vote for those pricks are basically the German version of MAGA trump voters.
Every time the far right starts winning, the rest ask „why are people becoming so dumb“ instead of „how did we mess up so bad that people would choose them over us“. So I don’t see things getting better.

As Ukrainian I obviously have 0% sympathy for putin’s friends. But it is failure of current parties that leads people to populism. Germany in particular is “looking at far-right problem” for decade already, but somehow it gets bigger and bigger. Maybe the solution is making other parties great, and I’d be happy to see them gathered around ideas of liberty inside and outside the EU

It’s very funny, you claim that AfD is dumb. I disagree. Maybe you are dumb and made these people elected that made that possible for AfD to make that move. You are responsible for not educating people enough, you are responsible for not integrating migrants, you are responsible for such politics.
I am afraid to ask – maybe you are dumb enough? Really? If you weren’t so stupid, this situation wouldn’t have happened in principle and you would be a minority.
A lot of the AfD voters are not voting them because they believe they are the best option, but because they are the only ones that at least propose something to solve the immigration issues that have plagued Germany for more than a decade.

Wrong Question. What have the existing mainstream party’s done so badly that the majority of Germans will not vote for them. From reading, under mainsstream leadership Germany has the most expensive electricity in the world. Companies are closing, and leaving. Christmas markets bombed every year? Shall i go on?
The mainstream parties need to examine there policies and win back voters.
People are fed up with the established parties not solving issues and keep breaking promises.
Unfortunately too many go to the AFD now, to try to vote for something new and as a protest. Not realising these traitors would sell out Germany to Russia the moment they can. And dismantle anything remotely democratic and social about it. These are neoliberals in disguise, preying on uncertainty to win the power and won’t solve anything either. They are worse than the FDP
I somehow hope that these polls serve as a wake-up call to corrupt and self interest driven politicians, yet I’d choose those shitty politicians over russian pawns any day of the week.

I am not a German and I know I will be downoted a lot but probably bad immigration policy (or lack of) contributed to that quite much. Calling voters dumb would not fix the problem also.
