MAGA don’t care. I’ve brought this up to several of them and they say the Democrats are paying agitators to show up at these town halls.

There’s gonna be some really interesting conversations around the coffee maker in D.C. when the Congress returns from their August recess.

    3. These posts make it a lot sadder when these ghouls inevitably win re-election

    4. This is nice to see but the majority of the population does not understand the connection between voting and their quality of life. You have to understand that a large portion of people foam at the mouth about Obamacare while receiving Obamacare. They still think COVID is part of a “plandemic”. I’m a poll worker and the amount of people who just vote republican because they always voted that way is astounding. A man whose wife dropped dead of COVID (antivax, other health issues) came in to vote for Trump again wearing a Trump hat. Either he made absolutely no connection between the fact that Trump indirectly caused his wife to die or he hates other people that much that he’s willing to deal with the fallout. I don’t know how to combat it.

    5. It isn’t Trump’s agenda. He is too stupid and self centered to have an agenda that involves anyone else. This is the Republican Party’s agenda. They literally told us what they were planning. Trump and Vance are just useful idiots.

Yet Democrats consistently lose to these people, and we blame the ignorant voter. Dems as a party whole are controlled opposition. There exists no party of the people, just a few individuals (Bernie/AOC/Crockett) but that’s not enough when the rest are all in on it together

These people are WAYYY too comfortable just lying to their constituents faces ngl. But I don’t wanna get banned, so that’s all I’ll say.

I believe there may be not one republican in office in the next elections

Are these Republicans worried about their own seats? How do they figure this is good for them and their political aspirations? Is it good? Does having Trump’s blessing override public dissent come election time?

I was there. The energy was so intense. Lots of anger and the questions were very informed and cutting. Medicaid/medicare cuts were the most asked about topic and got the room the most rowdy. CA 1 has one of the highest percentages of people on medicaid/medicare in the country. In a wave election year this guy is beatable.

Not even fazed by the boos. Just kept on trying to explain shit away.

Where’s the video of these lying ass motherfuckers feeling the heat from their constituents, with their faces clearly displaying how puckered their assholes are?

    12. As a California resident it makes no sense to me why there are republicans here. These people are told to hate their very own home. These people are told where they live is a failure. Yet they still live here for one reason or another, continually bite the hands that feed them, and never connect the dots.

    13. It would probably be an easier sell if the domestic agenda wasn’t to shit on everything and set it on fire

    14. I don’t think Comer’s held one in about 8 years and he’s still reelected each cycle. Our shit is fucked.

This is also the guy who has repeatedly voted to gut food stamps (aka Cal Fresh) WHILE AT THE SAME TIME voting for larger farm subsidies for himself. In fact, he personally has taken in $1.8 million in farm subsidies between 1995 and 2021, according to the Environmental Working Group. The LA Times columnist Mike Hiltzik has skewered him on several occasions: [https://www.pressdemocrat.com/article/news/hiltzik-food-stamps-a-victim-of-well-fed-slashers-in-d-c/](https://www.pressdemocrat.com/article/news/hiltzik-food-stamps-a-victim-of-well-fed-slashers-in-d-c/)

So has the local community newspaper: [https://www.newsreview.com/chico/content/town-hall/24094083/](https://www.newsreview.com/chico/content/town-hall/24094083/)

Sadly, people in this rural district, which is poor AF, continue to vote against their interests. I guess the reckoning won’t come until after the midterms…by design of the GOP. I’d like to think they’ll learn their lesson at that time, but I kind of doubt it.

Californians who vote for Republicans are like women and POC who vote for Republicans. Republicans have made California their boogeyman.

Stop voting for people who hate you and intend to do you harm when they have power.
