      Who’s surprised

They’ve been telling us for years CLIMATE CHANGE MEANS MORE EXTREME WEATHER EVENTS INCLUDING MORE DAYS ABOVE 40 DEGREES

It’s bad but it REALLY shouldn’t be a surprise, people need to listen to scientists a bit more

Do I have to assume that the readers were too stupid to understand what sarcasm is – and that this is mockingly referring to this stupid argument of climate change deniers?
Or do I have to assume the readers of my comment think that human caused global warming is wrong?

      gosh… internet…

Loving the 22C weather today in Metro-Helsinki.. ahhhhhh😆 After 5 weeks of having a 30C weather.

ETA I see us Nordics and esp. Finland being a huge summer vacation spot in the coming years(meaning next year and beyond). Perhaps central Europeans will come here to the Nordics instead of the Mediterranean region.

Lovely 20-25C weather with lush greenery, all the nature one can want and even cool city holidays in Turku, Helsinki, Tampere, small villages and town-ships. Biggest Lake district in Europe. 🥰🇫🇮🇪🇺👍🏻

Climate change literally cooked my plans to retire somewhere in the Mediterranean region. You already have Sahara-like temperatures there in the summer, I don’t even want to imagine how things will be in a few decades.

On the other hand, Northern Europe is transforming to a sub-tropical region itself. May as well just stay put.

We are going to DIE!!!! It’s too hot. It’s unbearable. Our buildings are not designed for such heat episodes.

North East of England starting to look like a decent place to live for the next few decades

    7. Why did you think it was not possible?!

The Mediterranean region is warming about 20% faster than the global average. Tourists are already down with 10% and by 2030 it is likely to drop 20-30% from the peak numbers….

Norway will be the new Greece! 😅

There is an urgent need to provide air conditioning to every household.

    9. God knows what kids being born now will experience in the future. At least we had some life before the extremes kicked in.

    10. In 10-20 years time :

„I didnt think it could get over 50!“

Are ppl stupid, dont they understand what is happening?

think the only place you won’t get cooked in france now will be bretagne and normandie

    13. I’m from Portugal, Lisbon area and i don’t remember a summer with these many days with temperatures near 40°C. According to wiki our August average high is (or was?) around 29°C.
