I mean this was going on for generations before the war, it was a known thing, there were complaints that we were financing north Korea which was an embargoed state but Russia was paying north Korea for workforce in Siberia lumber and places Russians who were growing more affluent couldn’t be bothered with. This is pretty much a non story.
